Whether you’re an aspiring student or an experienced maker, at some point in your typographic path you’ve probably encountered a barrier to entry. In late 2019, a small group of industry professionals decided to stop talking about these obstacles and start doing something to remove them. Together, we founded TypeWknd.

We’re an online-only type conference for everyone who sees, draws, makes, studies, and sells type. We’re powered by volunteers. And thanks to our generous sponsors, registration is free. No matter your location, budget, or even your confidence level, you are welcome here.
