Type63 was founded on Instagram out of a desire to discover other type designers in the Philippines. This talk aims to share Type63's evolution from just an online catalogue into a public and connected space where we can ask the whos, whats, and whys of Filipino type and its community.

Jo Malinis
Philippines
Jo Malinis is a graphic designer from the Philippines. Apart from working on brand identities, she is also fascinated by letterforms and how they can be representative of concepts and themes that inspire her personal and professional work. She is also an instructor at UP Diliman College of Fine Arts where she teaches Visual Communication Design and Production Methods.
Jo founded Type63, an initiative that aims to serve as a platform to celebrate and showcase type design and typography by Filipinos.
